We started our commercial diving division in 1992. We are able to do small to large recovery and salvage along with underwater repairs and maintenance in the coldest waters and with limited to zero visibility using OSHA approved practices. Some of our largest clients include Martin Marietta Aggregates, IMI, Dredge Wiz and Gilboa Quarry.
We are able to recover and salvage from small to large items or equipment. Some of our equipment includes:
1. Lift bags for a total lift capacity of 316,000 lbs.
2. Work barge with air compressor, pumps and support equipment.
3. Underwater torches and welders.
4. Diver to surface communication equipment.
5. Large amount of rigging equipment.
6. Underwater hand tools for digging, grinding, drilling and
cutting.
7. Air and pump dredges.
8. Surface supplied air manifold for multiple airbag lifts.

Dredge Recovery
125 ton dredge took on water, sank, flipped over, and broke in half. Rec To Tek cut all attachments points between the stern and bow halves (as the bow was still afloat upside down); plugged fuel tank vents in order to prevent an environmental spill during rotation, attached lift bags to the stern, rotated stern section about 180 degrees, raised stern section to a level appropriate to move to shore. Rec To Tek worked with a crane company to attach and raise the dredge from the water.

Dredge Recovery
94 ton dredge rolled and sank. Dredge was upside down on bottom of quarry in 40+ feet of water. Made custom rigging due to lack of lifting points. Lifted the dredge in 4 stages to rotate and upright to surface for towing 0.4 miles to extraction point. Rigged dredge for extraction. Supplied all equipment and manpower to raise dredge.

Truck Recovery
2 tri-axle dump trucks were buried in a lake because of a bank collapse as they were dumping their loads. The bank continued to bury the trucks entirely. Hand dredged multiple days to expose rigging points. Raised trucks with lift bags and towed 0.3 miles to extraction point. Rigged trucks for extraction. Supplied all equipment and manpower to raise trucks and tow to extraction point.
